Breaking Point

The curse kept them apart.

Every time he touched her, pain lanced through his body, burning like fire. But he couldn’t stay away.

“I don’t care,” he rasped, gripping the edge of the table to keep from reaching for her. “I’d rather suffer than never touch you again.”

Tears welled in her eyes. “There’s another way.”

He exhaled sharply. “Tell me.”

She swallowed hard. “We break the curse—or we break us.”

His heart clenched.

There was no choice. They would find a way.
